Brent’s Place
Volition Wealth Group is proud to support and serve Brent's Place, the only Children's Hospital Colorado approved “Safe-Clean” housing facility for immune-compromised patients and their families, which provides a living environment that is essential to healing and recovery. Our team serves by purchasing, preparing and serving meals to the family's staying at Brent's Place. We also sponsor a child's or caregiver's birthday on a monthly basis!
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Volition Wealth Group regularly supports the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) here in Greater Denver via the University of Denver. Colton serves as the Board Chair for ministry staff at DU and works to help them operate their ministry. FCA is driven towards seeing the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. FCA desires to see every coach and athlete enter into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and his church by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches/athletes to know and grow in relationship with Christ and lead others to do the same. There are several team Bible studies led by athletes or FCA volunteers that meet weekly. Another focus of DU FCA is Character Coaching, a program that helps teams create vision for their lives on and off the court, implementing Biblical principles along the way. A part of FCA's mission is equipping athletes to be prepared for life after their sport and build within them the core understanding that they are more than their sport and their most recent performance does not define who they are.
Childhood Cancer Organizations
As Ross’s son Beckett has battled cancer, we tend to support many childhood cancer organizations that we believe in. Giving time and/or money to Brent’s Place, Bags of Fun, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, etc.
DEI&P Council
Team members Ross, Olivia, Elizabeth, and Annelise are members of NM Denver’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Partnership Council. Specifically, Olivia and Annelise are on the Community Engagement and Partnership Committee, where they work with a variety of non-profit organizations in the Denver Metro area. While the committee has a long-term partnership agreement with Metro DEEP, Rocky Mountain Micro Finance Committee, and Mi Casa, we do many one-off events whether fundraisers or volunteering with many other organizations – if you have a Denver-based nonprofit you are passionate about, let’s partner!
